AFRIKA WA YESU MINISTRY TEAM - RUNNING THE RACE

Hebrews 12:1 “Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us.”

A multi national, multi-gifted power team affecting the nation through teaching, preaching, evangelism, raising up national leaders, training seminars in local churches, childrens’ ministry, church planting, dental and health care famine and emergency relief.

The staff at Afrika Wa Yesu (Africa for Jesus in the local Sena language) team is made up of people from no less than six nations:

1.  Zimbabwe: Rod and Ellie Hein, founders of the ministry. They ministered in Mozambique during its civil war, and continued on after the signing of the Peace Accord in Rome in 1992.

2. Mozambique: Director of the Bible School and church planting - Pastor Armando Jo, with his wife Lurdes, and children, Deborah, Simona and Bene.

 

3. United States: directors of Nacala Discipleship School and Ambassador Project, Jeff and Nicole Reetz, joined Afrika wa Yesu in 2000.

4. United States: Vice President of Afrika wa Yesu, Aaron Rissler and his wife Patricia, from Brazil, with their daughter Keren.

5. Zimbabwe: directors of Vocational Training School, Nacala, Northern Mozambique, Chris and Deborah (nee Hein) Maas, with Gabriel and Ashira.

6. Bible School Teachers:

7. Romania: director of Youth Evangelism, Simona Caba, joined Afrika wa Yesu in 2004.

8. Mozambique: practical administrator, Lino Gravata, with his wife Telvina.

9. United States: Christa Hyde, personal assistant and Children's Ministry.

Rod and Ellie Hein each hold an Honorary Diploma in Practical Theology from Christ For The Nations Institute, Dallas, TX. Armando, Simona, Christa, Deborah and Susana are all CFNI Dallas graduates.
